Terms of Service

Last updated: 17 May 2026  •  Effective: 17 May 2026
These terms apply to Pigeon, operated by Pigeon Group Limited, registered in England and Wales.
These terms are written in plain English. By creating an account and using Pigeon, you agree to them. If anything is unclear, email us at hellosendpigeon@gmail.com and we will explain.

What Pigeon is

Pigeon is a done-for-you investor update service for startup founders. You provide information about your company and what happened that month. We use AI to write a polished investor update email. You review it, approve it, and send it to your investors.

Pigeon is a tool to help you communicate with your existing investors. It is not a fundraising platform, a financial advisory service, or a regulated communications service.

Your account

To use Pigeon you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity that happens under your account.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Pigeon. By creating an account you confirm that you are.

You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of people who have not agreed to these terms. You may add contributors to your account from within your settings.

What you can use Pigeon for

Pigeon is designed for legitimate business communications between founders and their investors. You may use it to:

You may not use Pigeon to send unsolicited communications, to contact people who have not agreed to receive updates from you, or for any purpose that is misleading, fraudulent, or unlawful.

Your content and your investors' data

You own the content you put into Pigeon — your metrics, your story, your updates. By using Pigeon you give us permission to process that content to provide the service, including sending it to Anthropic's API to generate your update.

When you add investors to Pigeon, you are responsible for ensuring you have their consent to receive updates from you and to have their contact details stored in our system. You confirm that you have a lawful basis for providing their data to us under UK GDPR.

We do not sell your data or your investors' data. We do not use it for advertising. We use it only to provide the service you have asked for.

Payments and subscriptions

Pigeon offers a free plan and paid plans. Paid plans are billed monthly. Prices are displayed on the pricing page and within the app.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details. By subscribing to a paid plan you agree to Stripe's terms of service.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months.

We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers. If you do not agree to a price change, you may cancel before the new price takes effect.

Free plan limitations

The free plan allows up to 5 investors and includes a Pigeon watermark on outgoing updates. We reserve the right to change free plan limits at any time with reasonable notice.

AI-generated content

Pigeon uses Anthropic's Claude AI to generate your investor updates. The generated content is based on information you provide. You are responsible for reviewing the update before sending it and for ensuring it is accurate.

We make no warranty that AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your particular situation. You should always read your update carefully before approving it.

What we are responsible for

We will do our reasonable best to keep Pigeon available, secure, and working as described. However, we cannot guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

We are not responsible for the content of investor updates you send, for how your investors respond to them, or for any consequences arising from communications sent through Pigeon.

Our total liability to you in any calendar month will not exceed the amount you paid us in that month. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence.

Ending your account

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. When you delete your account, your data is removed from our systems within 30 days.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, if your account is used for fraudulent or unlawful purposes, or if we are required to do so by law. We will give you reasonable notice before doing so unless we believe immediate action is necessary.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before they take effect. The date at the top of this page reflects when the terms were last updated.

Continuing to use Pigeon after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
